Poimen UK/Europe

We continue to work on establishing Poimen as a charity and building a team to develop and extend the work of Poimen across the Uk and Europe.

The Scandinavian conference

We both had the pleasure of attending and serving at the Scandinavian conference, which took place in Sweden just a few weeks. This has become an annual event for us and was an absolute delight, even the weather was unusually cool the fellowship was warm and precious. This year we taught thorough the book of 1^st John. It was a precious time; Gwyn and I were involved in leading the worship for the week and sharing from the word,  it was a wonderful time in the presence of the Lord. Thank you for all your prayers, The Lord richly blessed the time.

Jenny’s memorial

I had the privilege of officiating at the memorial for my Aunt Jenny, who recently passed away, after achieving the amazing milestone of 100 Years Young.

Ezra the Joy

We had the amazing Joy of meeting Ezra Crispi, our grandson, during our recent trip to New Zealand. Gwyn as able to be there for about a month, to help Becki & Joe with little Ezra. They are all doing well and trying to figure out how everything works with a new life joining the family.
My heart is full !!!

Fiji church meetings

During the recent trip to New Zealand, Jordan & I were able to make a quick visit to the CC Nasinu in Fiji. Pastor Charles is doing a fantastic job, supported by Luisi and Akuila and the rest of the team there in Nasinu. The main reason for our visit was to help begin the process of formerly registering the Church with the Fijian Authorities. We were only on the ground for two days but achieved so much and for this we praise the Lord. Please continue to pray for us as we work through this formal registration process, that the Lord would provide and would guide at each and every step.

Praise

• The growth of the Wednesday night study at Church on The Way Bradford.
• The blessed time with the brethren in Scandinavia.
•  The health and safe delivery of Ezra and their one going health.
• The on-going work and growth of CC Nasinu in Fiji.

• Upcoming events
  • Weekly mentoring appointments with Pastors in Scandinavia, Serbia, the Uk and across continental Europe & Canada.
  • September 1^st-3^rd, This weekend Gwyn and I will be sharing at the Calvary Southampton summer retreat.
    • We will both be sharing from John 15, and we would appreciate your Prayers.
  •  Next Wednesday September 6^th, after the summer break the Wednesday night study will be starting again at church.
    • I will continue to teach and lead worship for the Wednesday night study at our home church in the Uk, Church on the Way, supporting Pastor Dave Barlow.
    • Gwyn continues to work with ladies at their Tuesday and Friday studies.
  • We are also planning on starting a spiritual leadership training similar to the one we have been leading at Calvary Mansfield.
  • The Church On The Way, Spiritual leadership group will be starting on the 10^th of September.
    • Prayers for Gods guidance and anointing would be very much appreciated.
  • September 17^th I will be sharing at the Arise worship conference hosted by Calvary Mansfield, I will be sharing the main session alongside Pastor Simon Lawrenson of Calvary Southampton. I will also be teaching the Sunday services at the Church sharing from Revelation 4 as well as leading the Sunday night spiritual leadership group. It will be a busy weekend so we would both appreciate your prayers for wisdom, strength and travelling mercies.
  • September 19^th – October 6^th, Gwyn and I will be in Idaho and Colorado, ministering initially at The Gathering in Idaho Falls.
    • I will be sharing with the leadership team of the church, following on from some of the leadership studies taught by a Poimen colleague, Pastor Terry McNab from earlier this year. I will also be sharing on Discipleship at a church conference as well as leading worship and sharing at the Sunday service from the book of Jonah.
    • Gwyn will be sharing on numerous occasions with the ladies of the church.
    •  We will be spending some time with our friends in Colorado, and I will be sharing the Sunday service at Mile High Calvary in Denver
  • October 16^th– 25^th, I will be in Italy for the Western European pastor’s conference, and I will have the privilege of sharing with the Pastors from the word.
    • The conference runs from the 16^th -20^th and I then hope to spend some time visiting with some of the churches in Italy and in Austria before returning home on the 6^th.
    •  Please for wisdom and opportunity, and the wisdom to recognise the right opportunities.
      
      
• Personally for
  • On-going adjustments having not lived in England for 25 years.
    • Practicalities of tax, support, and reintegration practically into society here.
  • Wisdom on how and where to serve, God given opportunities for ministry and significant ministry relationships.
  • For our kids who are serving the Lord in New Zealand.
    • They are doing great!!
    • Jordan as he pastors Calvary Auckland, please prayer for wisdom and protection for him as he bears a heavy load.
    • For Becki and Joe as they serve but also learn to do this all alongside Little Ezra
  • On-going wisdom for the Ccbi in New Zealand as we continue to facilitate the planting of CC Hawkes Bay, NZ and CC Nasinu, Fiji as well as the cultivate youth discipleship ministry.
    • The Calvary Fellowship in the Hawkes Bay of NZ
    • Pastor Charles & Tina, Luisi and Akuila at CC Nasinu in Fiji.
      • For Gods leading as we seek to register the church formally with the Fijian Authorities.

For our health & strength as we seek to serve and maintain quite a busy schedule.
