Christmas update from the Family Walsh

Just a few thoughts, prayer requests and thanks to everyone as Christmas approaches.

We will send out a fuller update in the New Year, but though this may be short, it is none the less heartfelt and contains for us significant news.

The big news for us and focus of great praise is that we have just been approved, in principal, for our permanent residency in New Zealand Praise the Lord.
This opens the door for us to live, work and study (and minister!) in New Zealand.

Another great step of faith for us… so during 2009 probably during June or July, we will be moving to New Zealand to work with the saints there, building up the body and starting a Calvary Chapel Bible Institute on the North Island of New Zealand.

The spring semester will be our last in Vajta and I am sure it will be bitter sweet, after being here with the ministry on mainland Europe for over 10 years. A change of hemisphere and country, but not a change of heart or ministry, the calling to make disciples and the prize is always, the hearts & the souls of men. More later as things develop.

• Thanks for Gods direction and opening the door for us to move to NZ.
• For God amazing provision during the immigration process.
• For Gods personal and deep care for us.
• Thanks for the ministry and staff here in Vajta for the encouragement and blessing they are to us.
• Praise for another great bible school semester.

Prayer

• For The Lord continued guidance as we see Him unfold His plans for us.
• Continued provision of courage and faith as the details of moving to the other side of the world seem overwhelming.
• Practical provision
• A place to live
• A place to minister
• The right team
• Everything from schools for the kids to actually…. I have no idea!!!!!!
• An effective and helpful transition in all areas of the ministry here in Hungary

This Christmas we will be travelling back to England and hope to share fellowship with all the saints there.

A final thought….
Though the words never seem enough and seem often inadequate to express the depth of the thought, we truly are blessed by your love care and all the ways in which you support us and the ministry. Without the Lord and Him using you this would all be impossible.
Above all … this Christmas … His name shall be called Jesus for He will save His people from their sins and He is ever God with us, truly Immanuel
