Transition, Turku and Web pages

TRANSITION

Probably a modern word , but an old idea.

Well… we are in transition, when we first arrived in Austria in 1998, a dear friend Rod Thompson shared in the weekly study about the apostle Paul. In essence, what he shared was this, that Paul was always leaving good people and dear friends, that he had laboured with, heart to heart and side by side.

This is our experience, after 46 years in the Northern Hemisphere, we are heading for the Southern Hemisphere.

We are booked on a flight from the UK leaving June 15th via Los Angeles, we will have about 5 days in Southern California , before arriving in Auckland, New Zealand June 22nd 2009.

The really strange thing was booking a one way flight – brings home the reality !!!

Transition means saying goodbye and for us there are many, very special people to which we need to say those words, places we need to visit and people we need to see.

So this weekend it is Turku & Helsinki in Finland.

Therefore my beloved brethren , be ye steadfast, immovable , always abounding in the work of the Lord , for you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.
