Espoo, Helsinki & Turku – Finland Ahh Goodbyes!!!

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Col 2:6-7

It is two years since I was in Finland, I had the privilege of sharing in the Espoo fellowship in Helsinki and in the church in Turku.

The verse above describes our experience this weekend, the fellowship was sweet and we were greatly encouraged by how the body has grown and matured, the Lord is truly faithful to build His church.

ESPOO, HELSINKI
Each week Pastor Bob makes the 320km roundtrip journey, often in the snow to teach a very special Group of believers in Espoo, a suburb of Helsinki.

This week we shared together from Psalm 46, speaking of God’s comfort and strength as our refuge.

Later in the evening , we made the hour and a half journey back by snowy road to Turku. We have had little snow in Hungary this year, so it was a great deal of fun to be in a snowy place and the moment even the southern part of Finland looks like Narnia!!!

TURKU
Though the weather was a cool and snowy 6 , the fellowship was warm. It was good to renew fellowship with some of the saints we met on or last trip. The Lord has strengthened the and grounded the ministry and the believers here in Turku. It is wonderful to see the faithfulness of the saints.

Please pray Pastor Bob, Mari and their son Russell as they serve , with Aaron and his family and Kyle, as they all serve in the body here in Turku.

Please pray for God’s provision of the right place to meet, even in the very centre of Turku!

Please pray for God’s provision of resources , in terms of finance & people.

Please pray for the salvation of many and the grounding of many in God’s Word.

AHH Goodbyes

For us it was a great time of visiting with friends and co labourers, but also a chance to say goodbye too, Always hard , but Good in the knowledge that God has called all of us and will keep us too.

Packing is slow and no real fun, if it were I guess Disney would have packing parks rather than theme parks !!!!. – BUT THEY DON’T!

Pray for us packing is slow & emotional torture too! – (that’s just Gwyn by the way !)
